Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst with a background in the consumer goods industry to support financial planning, forecasting, and business strategy. This role will analyze key financial metrics, provide insights for decision-making, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze financial performance, including revenue, margins, and cost trends.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with key insights.
- Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets.
- Develop dashboards and models to support data-driven decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
- Update rolling forecasts based on market trends and internal performance.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align financial projections with business objectives.
Strategic Insights & Business Support:
- Provide financial insights to optimize pricing, promotions, and product profitability.
- Support new product launches by modeling potential financial impacts.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Analyze consumer and market trends to assess financial risks and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
