What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Leedstone?
Leedstone in Melrose, MN is currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and hard-working individual to add to our Warehouse Team as a full-time Warehouse Associate. This individual must work well with other team members, and display attention to detail, accuracy, and promptness. The individual who fills this position will be responsible for filling customer orders using a picklist program to ensure the order is complete and accurate and inventory counts remain intact. Warehouse Associates also pack and label the orders to ensure appropriate delivery.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick orders according to quantity, size, etc.
- Build pallets of orders and position them by loading docks.
- Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.
Requirements
- Ability to learn our fulfillment software/system.
- Display great attention to detail; remain diligent and punctual.
- Work with a team: positive attitude, self-motivated and respectful, good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, push a cart, carry up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, bend, and reach; must be able to work full shifts on your feet.
- Follow safety guidelines; maintain clean and safe work area.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of general work experience; knowledge of warehouse operations preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Experience or license in operating forklifts, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Experience with fulfillment systems/software is a plus
Full-Time Position: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., one day of the week 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; rotating every 6th Saturday.
