Tow Truck Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and customer service skills, with the ability to manage conflicts effectively. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, transporting vehicles, and ensuring the safety of both yourself and the customers you serve.

Responsibilities

• Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles as required.
• Must be willing to use dollies.
• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment while ensuring minimal damage.
• Perform basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their needs promptly.
• Manage conflicts on-site with professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and vehicle conditions.
• Drive in various weather conditions while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is preferred; must have a clean driving record.
• Experience operating tow trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable.
• Proficient in manual transmission operation is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and diagnostics.
• Excellent conflict management skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100.00 - $160.00 per day

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:

• Monthly bonus
