Position Title : Solutions Consultant – Scheduling and Registration Products
Location : Coralville, IA (eligible for hybrid and remote work)
Reports to : Director of Global Accounts
Status : Full-Time, Exempt, Salary
Overview :
Leepfrog Technologies, Inc. provides its CourseLeaf software to more than 550 of the nation’s most academically complex colleges and universities to manage their academic catalogs, curriculum, section scheduling, registration, and syllabi management.
The Solutions Consultant (SC) is responsible for being the subject matter expert for CourseLeaf scheduling and registration software modules, and for providing information to the sales team for success with potential and existing clients. The SC focuses on understanding clients’ needs, analyzing their environment, and consulting with them on how the CourseLeaf suite can solve their problems, and persuading them to use the software. The SC will identify internal opportunities and recommend improvements to the product(s), and to further sales of the software. They are also the key person who carries out product development initiatives set by management for new initiatives and new products.
Duties
Sales Consultant (Approximately 70%)
- Act as a subject matter expert on CourseLeaf modules, supporting the Sales team with product knowledge, client applications, and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve inquiries, enhance client understanding, and improve product use through direct engagement and feedback.
- Represent the company through webinars, conferences, and client site visits, delivering compelling presentations and tailored messaging about CourseLeaf products.
- Contribute to marketing and sales efforts by refining materials, preparing RFPs, and providing input on strategy, scope, pricing, and client use cases.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Business Analyst (30%)
Collaborate with clients to identify strategic goals and align institutional needs with Leepfrog solutions for catalog, course, and curriculum management.Maintain expertise in Leepfrog software to configure, customize, and implement solutions while providing detailed requirements to the Management Team.Manage client expectations and deliver exceptional customer service, troubleshooting application issues, and collaborating with internal teams as needed.Assess client requests for application enhancements, advocating for usability of existing features and their long-term operational benefits.Requirements : Long-Term Outcomes
Increase sales and viability of the scheduling and registration (CLSS and PATH) modules.Troubleshoot issues that arise during the implementation and launch of products (i.e. : data missing from bridge, client late, SOW missed, etc.).Identify areas of improvement and provide suggestions on how products are sold, managed, implemented, developed, and supported and provide analysis to product management on best strategy to proceed.Assist in collecting information from clients and internal constituencies on viewpoints about CourseLeaf products.Provide deliverables on the future development needs of the product that clearly align with Leepfrog and will fulfill the clients’ needs.Facilitate presenting collective wisdom to decision-makers with options and possible recommendations.Skills Required

Master’s degree preferred or a bachelor’s degree and three years related experience.Two year’s prior experience in sales or equivalent.Experience with Higher Education course scheduling and registration experience desired.Experience in marketing, business process consulting and / or project management strongly preferred. Demonstrated success with problem definition, detailing of processes, and the implementation of solutions for clients preferred.Above average knowledge of web systems, tools and applications used by colleges and universities is required – specifically experience with SIS and curriculum development.Physical Requirements
Depending on client engagement, travel may or may not be requested. This position is required to work a standard week but may be required to work some evenings and weekends to meet project milestones. The position will spend generally be sitting and using office equipment and computers. Generally, this position is considered sedentary and will be faced with regular interruptions.
