Job Title: Investment Banking Associate, Biopharma
Reports to: Head of Investment Banking
Department: Investment Banking
Location: Boston
Salary Range: $175,000-$225,000
The Associate will be a key member of an experienced team building a world-class investment banking practice focused on healthcare and life science companies. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of originating, structuring, and executing financings and M&A transactions for clients across all sectors. This position offers direct client CEO and CFO contact, significant responsibility and opportunity for advancement. The ideal candidate will have previous healthcare investment banking experience at the Associate level.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Play a lead role in all aspects of execution of investment banking transactions
- Assist in preparation of presentations for current and prospective clients
- Perform and supervise preparation of valuation analyses of clients and targets
- Perform due diligence investigations
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- 3 years of investment banking experience, healthcare related transactions preferred
- Exemplary academic record; finance and life sciences undergraduate experience preferred; MBA is a plus
- Financial modeling and analytical skills are necessary, including knowledge of financial accounting
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Highly motivated, energetic, personable and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic work environment
