Job Title: Investment Banking Associate, Healthcare
Reports to: Global Co-Head of Investment Banking
Department: Investment Banking
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000
This is an opportunity to become a key member of an experienced team building a world-class investment banking practice focused on companies in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will provide support to senior bankers on the Biopharma and Healthcare Services team in a variety of financing and M&A transactions. The candidate must have relevant work experience and a proven track record of providing investment banking services, ideally working on healthcare transactions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in client transactions, projects or assignments as an Analyst of the investment banking team
- Assist in preparation of presentations for current and prospective clients
- Prepare valuation analyses of clients and targets
- Review business plans, conduct research and analyze financial statements
- Perform due diligence investigations
- Interact with clients and internal banking team
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- 3 years of investment banking experience, healthcare related transactions preferred
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including knowledge of financial accounting
- Highly motivated, energetic, personable and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic, team-oriented work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
