Assistant Coach – Baseball - Lee's Summit North HS

Description: The assistant coach is responsible for assisting with planning, managing and directing the high school Baseball team program. Specific shall include, but are not limited to the following tasks:

• Assistant Coaching the baseball team.
• Assist with managing all aspects of the program including practicing, competing, providing off-season improvement opportunities to include strength and conditioning and full usage of contact days
• Marketing and promoting the Baseball program
• Assistant Coaching, guiding, and providing feedback to student athletes
• Scouting opponents
• Assist with managing a fiscally sound budget
• Assist with monitoring class schedules, grades and student-athlete academic progress, and intervening where appropriate.
• Responsible for Baseball student-athlete retention
• Articulation with the feeder middle school program
• Providing summer camp opportunities for elementary and/or middle school students
