Job Summary
We are seeking a bright and compassionate individual who has the passion for helping others. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. We have a low patient to staff ratio, so excellent bedside manner is a must.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary support for daily activities.
Skills
- HHA, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
