Title:HousekeeperDepartment:FacilitiesCategory: HousekeepingHousekeeper reports to Housekeeping Supervisor and assists in the physical cleaning of all college facilities.Essential FunctionsCleans assigned areas with cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease.Gathers and disposes of trash.Linen service as required.Periodically polishes floors using buffing machine and polish.Strips and refinishes floors as necessary.Utilizes proper PPE for given duties.Assist other parts of the facilities team as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.Vacuums/sweeps.CompetenciesEthical ConductStress Management/ComposureTeamwork OrientationThoroughnessSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentStrenuous physical activity. Housekeepers are required to move around campus properties and work with cleaning chemicals.
