What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician- On Site Training position at Leet EyeCare?
We are looking for a motivated professional to join our clinic as an Optometric Technician. We provide patients with the absolute best in quality eye care, and as a part of our team, you will perform the testing necessary for the most thorough eye exam possible. You will also assist optometrists during the exams, which requires you to use a variety of leading-edge optical equipment. We greet each patient with a friendly and professional demeanor and convey the confidence, knowledge, and attention to detail that our patients have come to trust. Our ideal candidate would have prior experience in an optometry practice, but it is not required. We provide onsite training so experience or certification as a Medical Assistant is also not required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Doctor during examinations
- Provide superb customer service to every patient
- Operate optical diagnostic equipment
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Prior experience in an optometry environment (preferred)
- Friendly demeanor and professional appearance
