LRE (Leeward Renewable Energy) is a high-growth renewable energy company forging a sustainable future through integrity, innovation, and positive impact. We own and operate 30 large wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the United States, totaling over 3 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.
LRE has an ambitious goal of 10GW of operating assets by 2028 and are developing and contracting an increasing pipeline of new projects every year. We take a full-lifecycle approach to our projects, built on a long-term ownership model and a company culture dedicated to our community partners and protecting the environment.

Responsibilities:
- Take a lead role in system upgrades, migrations, and integration of new technologies, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Mentor and support junior system administrators, fostering skill development and professional growth.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their IT needs to enhance business operations.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the organization’s IT infrastructure, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues, implementing solutions to prevent downtime.
- Maintain and prepare detailed documentation for IT systems, processes, and configurations.
- Assist in developing and ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in system and network administration.
- Proven expertise in system including troubleshooting complex issues.
- Strong knowledge of system security, as well as compliance standards.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network , Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring or training junior team members is a plus.
- Effective under pressure and proven ability to meet deadlines.
