LEFEVER MATTSON PROPERTY MANAGEMENT manages a portfolio of single family, multi-family, and commercial investment properties throughout California. We are seeking a Financial Analyst with proven data analytics and communication skills to join our team.
JOB:
Accounts Payable Lead to provide Accounts Payable support for commercial and multifamily real estate properties. Job duties will involve, but not limited to:
- Review vendor invoices for appropriate approval, product delivery or job completion, and appropriate due date, for all multifamily and commercial properties
- Review vendor statements and communicate with vendors and/or on-site staff to resolve billing and/or payment discrepancies.
- Review employee reimbursement requests for appropriate approval.
- Enter vendor invoices or other payables in accounting system accurately based on existing GL account structure.
- Match checks with vendor invoices. Mail payments on a timely basis and file supporting documentation so that, if necessary, it can be located quickly.
- Maintain schedules to assure that disbursements for all recurring monthly payables are made on a consistent and timely basis.
- Work with the Director of Accounting to issue annual vendor 1099s on a timely basis at year end.
- Ability to work in the development and implementation of purchasing and accounts payable policies, procedures, and controls.
- Support for Director of Accounting and CFO.
- Additional daily and long term financial tasks, as needed
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:
- Working knowledge and experience with purchasing and accounts payable workflow processes
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrate an ability to work and interact professionally with a wide variety of individuals, both inside and outside the firm
- Willingness and ability to work under time deadlines
- Accurate and thorough in executing accounts payable functions and developing purchasing and accounts payable procedures

- Ability to multitask effectively while keeping priorities in perspective
- Ability to work effectively as a team player or independently
- Experience using Yardi property management software
EXPERIENCE:
- Work experience in full cycle accounts payable and AP supervision
- Experience in real estate/property management and Yardi Systems is preferred

Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour
