Google Cloud DevOps Engineer (GCP, Docker, Kubernetes)

Position Overview: 

As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations, high availability, and continuous delivery. You will also take part in troubleshooting and optimizing production environments, ensuring scalability and efficiency. 

Must-Have Qualifications: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field. 
• Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud, DevOps, and Release Management. 
• Key Skills: Critical Technologies (Must Have):  

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 

Harness 

JIRA Administration 

Docker & Kubernetes 

Terraform 

Release Management 

• Location: Must be located in Houston, TX, and able to work in the office full-time for the first 3 months. After the initial period, a hybrid work schedule is available.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP and other cloud platforms. 
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, Harness, Docker, and Kubernetes. 
• Oversee release management, ensuring smooth deployments and minimal disruptions. 
• Manage JIRA instances and implement JIRA automation for efficient workflows. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and performance. 
• Write and maintain scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Perl) for automation and systems management. 
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure effective cloud deployment strategies. 
• Continuously optimize cloud resources and system performance.
