Position Overview:
As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations, high availability, and continuous delivery. You will also take part in troubleshooting and optimizing production environments, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud, DevOps, and Release Management.

- Location: Must be located in Houston, TX, and able to work in the office full-time for the first 3 months. After the initial period, a hybrid work schedule is available.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP and other cloud platforms.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, Harness, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Oversee release management, ensuring smooth deployments and minimal disruptions.
- Manage JIRA instances and implement JIRA automation for efficient workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Write and maintain scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Perl) for automation and systems management.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure effective cloud deployment strategies.
- Continuously optimize cloud resources and system performance.
