Leflore County Youth Services, Inc. in Poteau, Oklahoma is seeking individual that is able to work Part-time Child Care Worker in our 24/7 shelter. Hours could be any shifts that come up. Other hours are available to work when full-time staff are off ill or vacation.
Job Description
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma,
Must be at least 21 years of age
Have a valid Oklahoma drivers license
Have an interest in children
High moral character is a desirable trait due to the situation you will be placed in.
Must pass a background check/ fingerprints and DRUG TEST!
Child Care Worker are acting as substitute parents for sheltered children and as such will maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times. Below is a list of expected duties, but not limited to:
· keep the house clean and neat
· clean bathroom
· cook meals
· laundry
· discipline
· recreation
· assist with school work
· paperwork
