What are the responsibilities and job description for the TSET Assistant Program Coordinator position at LeFlore County Youth Services, Inc.?
The Assistant Coordinator will work with city municipalities, schools, higher education and worksites to help build or strengthen nutrition, physical activity and tobacco free policies or ordinances.
Successful Applicant must:

- Non-tobacco user (including E-cigarettes)
- Pass a background check / drug test Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Technical skills in computer applications (power point, excel, access, word) is preferred.
· Ability to develop and make effective oral presentations; to communicate professionally and effectively both orally and in writing
· Coordinate workshops and training for adults and youth.
· Knowledge of tobacco industry strategies, laws and/or policies.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Gathering data from the community needs assessment
- Development and mobilization of partners and collaborative group members
- Development of a strategic plan
- Implementation of the strategic plan and program evaluation.
- Build and nurture community partnerships in LeFlore County.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Be able to encourage and model responsible ways to make changes for a healthier community.
- Collaborate with the HLP Coordinator on reporting requirements and other tobacco-related program activities as required by the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust and/or LeFlore County Youth Services, Inc.
- Will assist the HLP Coordinator with activities and duties related to the Healthy Living Program as needed. Examples included record-keeping, grant preparation, monthly coalition meetings, special events, administrative duties, etc.
- Develop presentations/training materials for community groups, professional associations, employers and opinion leaders.
- Attend required meetings and training courses
- Assist with monthly report at Tobacco-free LeFlore County and LeFlore County Coalition for Healthy Living Meetings.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
