Summary : The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for providing operational leadership and direction. Additionally, the Assistant Community Manager's main duty is to effectively compute, classify and record numerical data to keep financial records complete while assisting with the leasing, marketing, and resident relations for the community. The candidate will perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to make payments to vendors, process resident rental payments and obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining property accounting records. The Assistant Community Manager assumes all management duties not performed by the property manager and assists the property manager in many areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Community Management
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all the times.
- Assume Community Manager's duties / authority in absence of immediate supervisor in accordance with company and community guidelines.
- Comply with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Maintain open communication with Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform regular community inspections and communicate related service needs to Maintenance Supervisor.
- Contribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the community on continuing basis.
- Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
Leasing & Renewals
Income Collection & Accounting Support
Communicate with Community Manager regarding accuracy of invoices received; ensure that purchase orders are attached, and invoices are coded correctly, according to company procedures.
Resident Relations
