We are looking for the right candidate to join our Property Operations Team as a Residential Property Associate. The Residential Property Associate will report directly to the Property Manager or Senior Property Manager of the portfolio and provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in property management.
Essential Job Function / Responsibilities:
- Deliver best-in-class customer service through quick and effective response to residents inquiries and repair requests, escalating more serious resident concerns promptly.
- Manage resident communications, including emails, phone calls and notices.
- Gather and review resident feedback to improve services and enhance resident satisfaction.
- Maintain and execution and implementation the effective management of digital platforms such as Yardi, Moved.com and Happy.co, to enhance tenant experience, streamline property operations, and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available on all platforms.
- Manage the move-in and move-out process using moved,com, ensuring a smooth transition for residents. Ensuring move-in inspection is completed and handling vacate procedures, assessing charges for damages or repairs.
- Support the property management team with budget tracking and expense management.
- Coordinate purchase of business critical supplies, services and equipment.
- Assist in preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly financial reports for Senior Management.
- Learn the Property Management profession through participation on a team which consists of Operations, Leasing, Legal, Compliance, Construction, and Commercial Property Management Professionals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Strong computer skills, MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to learn new technical applications such as Yardi (real estate financial and operational software)
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
