We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Color Management Specialist with expertise in color theory, printing technologies, RIP software, and hands-on experience with Canon and HP printers. This role focuses on achieving excellence in color accuracy and consistency across all printed materials, including various fabrics, with additional responsibilities for supporting and mentoring a small team to meet departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement advanced color management strategies to optimize print quality and consistency across all projects.
- Utilize expert knowledge of color theory, color spaces, and RIP software (e.g., EFI Fiery, ONYX, Caldera) to maintain high standards in color reproduction.
- Calibrate and adjust Canon and HP printers, ensuring they operate within specified color tolerances for various substrates, including different fabrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve color-related issues across printing workflows, particularly with Canon and HP devices.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to establish and uphold color standards and profiles for various printing methods, substrates, and fabrics.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Canon and HP printing technologies, color management, and related software tools, and apply relevant updates to workflows.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on color management best practices and software tools.
- Partner with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of materials such as inks, papers, and fabrics.
- Document and maintain comprehensive records of color profiles, calibration settings, and standard operating procedures.
