PLUMBER/PLUMBER HELPER

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Plumbers Helper to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry. As a Plumbers Helper, you will assist licensed plumbers in various tasks, contributing to residential and commercial plumbing projects. The role requires a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.

Duties

• Assist plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Help assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Support in remodeling projects by providing necessary assistance with plumbing tasks.
• Perform pipe threading and ensure proper alignment of pipes.
• Utilize basic math skills to measure and cut materials accurately.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
• Collaborate with team members on various tasks, demonstrating strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred to understand plumbing systems.
• Experience or familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, or maintenance person tasks is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to plumbing and construction.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Nights as needed
• On call
• Weekends as needed
