Cashier (Part-time)

Leg Up Farmers Market is York's Largest Natural Grocery Store, which exists to support Leg Up Farm, a therapy center for children with special needs.

As a Cashier you are the face of our Market, and we count on you to make the final experience of every customer fantastic. While you will spend a lot of time checking-out and interacting with customers, you will also have variety in most of your days! As a small business, we rely on our Cashiers to complete a variety of tasks during their down-time, such as: date checking, sanitizing throughout the store, packaging product for sale, cleaning bathrooms, helping stock product, and more.

This is generally a 16-30 hour position and at least 1 weekend day will be necessary. We are seeking someone with some 11am-3pm availability on Weekdays (Mondays especially). Additionally some afternoon 3pm - 7:30pm shifts will be needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 28 per week
