Residential Supervisor

Legacies, LLC. of Winona is on the hunt for a qualified, full-time Community Based Residential Supervisor to join our team!

Legacies, LLC. is a proud provider of Individualized Home Supports (IHS) and Community Residential Services for adolescents and adults with mental health diagnoses and other disabilities both in their homes and in the community through 1:1 supports. Legacies helps people in the areas such as behavior modification, homework, hygiene, chores, appropriate social interaction, community safety, financial training, and health and fitness among many other areas that encourage accountability, independence, and safety.

Salary: $45,000 /year

Hours: Monday-Friday scheduling, flexible, 8:30am-4:30pm

Residential Supervisor duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Build and maintain healthy, trusting relationships with staff, families, and individuals served.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and understand programs (skills building objectives and behavior modification, etc.).
• Provide positive support and resources to individuals served and staff, including training new staff.
• Maintain paperwork and communications in a timely manner, including person-specific assessments, CSSP addendums, IAPP, etc.) and understand 245D licensing requirements.
• Evaluate effectiveness of service delivery, methodologies, and progress on outcomes.
• Partake in on-call weekend rotation for monitoring the on-call phone and visiting group homes.
• Be available for 15 hours of “office” work which includes reviewing care notes, writing progress reports, creating and revising client assessments, writing programs and routine plans, staff evaluations, attending internal and external meetings, be part of an internal committee, etc.
• Be available for 25 hours of “field time” which includes direct care shifts, training staff, shadowing staff, conduct file trainings and staff meetings, etc.
• Come to work prepared to participate in the day’s activities.
• Communicate effectively with staff, admin, guardians, and other partners of a client’s team.
• All other duties as assigned.

Residential Supervisor requirements include, but are not limited to:

• 4 yr. degree in related field 1 year FTE direct care; OR 2-yr degree in related field 2 years FTE direct care; OR a diploma in a related field from an accredited postsecondary institution 3 years FTE direct care; or 50 hours of education/training in this field 4 years FTE direct care under supervision.
• A valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
• Must maintain flexibility in schedule to meet the needs of the client and staff.
• Must possess excellent communication and punctuality skills, and ability to use Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Be resourceful, respectful, and professional leader with an initiative to act.
• Maintain a positive attitude and display advocacy for clients, staff, other managers, and Legacies.
