Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Community Manager with a background in affordable housing to oversee the daily operations of a well-established affordable housing community. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and engaging living environment for residents while ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the affordable housing community, ensuring all property management functions are handled efficiently.
- Supervise and support the leasing and maintenance staff to provide excellent customer service to residents.
- Conduct resident meetings and resolve issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage leasing processes, including screening applicants, preparing leases, and processing renewals.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local affordable housing regulations, including the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program and HUD guidelines.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants.
- Monitor and maintain the community budget, including rent collection and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for property repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records for the property, including tenant files and inspections.
- Build and foster a positive community atmosphere by organizing events and activities for residents.
