Production Shift Supervisor-3rd Shift

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Shift Supervisor at Legacy Bakehouse in Waukesha, WI. The Production Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing production schedules, planning production activities, managing production processes, and communicating effectively with team members.

Major Responsibilities

• As a member of the Legacy Bakehouse Leadership Team, this role is crucial to leading a team of employees with responsibility for safety, quality, productivity and on-time customer delivery for their individual shift.
• Oversee the production and packaging of products produced per customer or internal specs.
• Ability to create, populate and explain shift metrics on performance boards and in shift reports.
• Oversee the development of all shift employees to include assessing performance and working on plans to further develop skills of employees while addressing gaps.
• Oversee necessary changes to employees and equipment to achieve Legacy safety, quality and efficiency standards.
• Collaboration with other shifts to share best practices and/or to engage in problem solving techniques to increase process reliability.
• Ensure that all cleaning is meeting Legacy standards through swab testing and/or follow up inspections.
• Ensure that general housekeeping duties are being done and comply with the standards of food safety.
• Ensure that equipment is being maintained by doing general inspections of equipment, performing basic mechanical troubleshooting and reporting any repair needs to maintenance.

Qualifications

• Supervisory Skills, Communication, and Production Management
• Experience in production scheduling and production planning
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of food production and safety regulations
• Previous experience in a similar position is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
