We are seeking a therapist to work in our Medication Assisted Treatment program in Valdosta, Georgia. Under direct supervision, the position provides evaluation and therapeutic services to substance use and mental health consumers in an outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include completion of complex psychosocial assessments, treatment team participation, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Provides individual, family and group counseling to consumers and their families. Must be familiar with all populations within the outpatient population including Child & Adolescent, Adult MH, and Adult SA. Individuals in this position must be able to collaborate with community referral sources and physicians to ensure continuity of care.   Benefits: Employee Assistance Program- We offer EAP services to all full-time and part-time employees. Degree must be license eligible and must be on a licensure track to successfully complete license exam within one year of hire. Planning, communicating, teamwork, networking, writing, listening, motivating, and critical thinking skills are necessary for success. Requires basic computer skill. Thorough understanding and working knowledge of all aspects of EMR. Utilizes discretion in handling the organization’s confidential information and consumer-protected information. Must have a valid Georgia drivers’ license. Must be familiar with all populations within the outpatient clinic including Child & Adolescent, Adult MH, and Adult SA. To be successful, Licensed Therapists must have knowledge of payor sources, billing requirements, and regulatory requirements.
