Position Overview:
As a Life Insurance Agent at Legacy Builders, you will play a crucial role in educating middle-class families about the importance of financial protection and planning for the future. You will guide clients in assessing their insurance needs, securing appropriate life insurance coverage, and creating customized financial strategies. This role focuses on education and empowerment, ensuring clients understand how to properly protect their families, save for retirement, and plan for other important financial goals.
In addition to life insurance, we offer growth opportunities for high-performing agents to expand their expertise into investment management and loan origination, enabling you to help clients build wealth and achieve home ownership.
Key Responsibilities:Life Insurance Agent:
- Client Education & Relationship Management: Build lasting relationships with clients, providing educational resources to help them understand their financial needs and options. Offer life insurance solutions that align with their goals of financial protection and long-term planning.
- Needs-Based Consultations: Conduct thorough assessments to identify life insurance needs, and provide tailored recommendations for coverage and other financial products.
- Sales & Business Development: Actively prospect new clients through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts. Work to meet and exceed personal and team sales goals.
- Ongoing Client Support: Offer continuous service and support, including policy reviews, updates, and claims assistance. Help clients navigate changes in their financial situation.
- Educate on Broader Financial Planning: In addition to life insurance, introduce clients to retirement planning, saving strategies, and other financial goals to set them up for success in the future.
Growth into Investment Manager & Loan Officer (Post-Training):
- Investment Manager Role (Future Opportunity if not licensed already):
- Educate clients on investment strategies, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and retirement accounts.
- Help clients understand how to diversify their portfolios based on their risk tolerance and financial goals.
- Provide ongoing support for clients looking to build long-term wealth and plan for retirement.
- Loan Officer Role (Future Opportunity if not licensed already):
- Work with clients to understand their financial goals and recommend the most suitable loan products for home ownership or other personal/business financing needs.
- Assist clients through the loan application process, ensuring all documentation is in order and guiding them to secure the best possible terms.
Requirements:
- No Experience Necessary: We offer extensive training, but prior experience in sales, financial services, or insurance is a plus. Paid training is available.
- Licensing: Must be willing to obtain and maintain a valid life insurance license (assistance provided for licensing). Licensing sponsorship is available (32 hour course).
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple, approachable way, particularly in an educational setting. Ask questions, we understand its an entry level to the financial services industry and we don't expect you to know anything if you have no previous experience.
