Hours Monday thru Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm

Legacy Building Solutions is an established and growing fabric building manufacturer located near Cloud, Minnesota. Today we specialize in highly custom, large and specialty fabric structures and are currently seeking an Plasma Scrapper - Backup Machine Operator to join our team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Read work orders or Pro nest programs and plan sequence of work. - not required
- Select cutting tips or other attachments. Install and align them.
- Maintains accurate material inventory data and records accordingly throughout the day.
- Selects proper materials per cut programs or instructions.
- Handle and load metal onto matching
- Secure work pieces and position guides, stops, or other fixtures.
- Set controls for speed, feed rate, depth and angle, or pressure and temperature.
- Clear jams and adjust settings. Alert supervisor of problems.
- Measure finished work pieces to determine if they are the right size and inspect for defects. Use meters, gauges, and other precision instruments.
- Handle and move materials and parts.
- Repair and maintain mechanical equipment on a routine basis.
- Excellent work ethic with potential to grow
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Machine operating experience preferred
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required are described on the full job description
- Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
Candidates selected for employment must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical.
