Overview:
The Document Specialist must be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail. Daily activities will involve data entry and verification, reviewing sensitive legal documents for accuracy, and being able to interpret and enter legal subpoenas and summons. Our representatives should be reliable, experienced at problem-solving, have a high moral standard, and can sustain motivation for long periods of time.
Responsibilities:
- Works with sensitive legal information and must maintain confidentiality.
- Reading, reviewing, and auditing debts, legal compliance documents, subpoenas, and summons.
- Responsible for data integrity of all fields within internal systems to ensure that information can be extracted for external team use.
- Performs quality assurance of data to ensure proper follow through and reports to department manager with any inconsistencies.
- Responsible for efficient communication, harmonious interaction, and support of co-workers and management team members.
- Always maintains and promotes company brand guidelines and core values.
- Results orientated – the ability to plan, problem solve, delegate, and achieve business goals within the timelines established.
- Maintain company and team culture and always maintain business professionalism.
- Performs other tasks the manager assigns to provide general support to company operations.
- Must be proficient at using various computer platforms & systems, including Excel, PowerPoint, Google, CRMs, and other portals.
- Working knowledge of debts, legal compliance of debts, subpoenas, and court summons preferred.
- Strong ability to multi-task and solve problems.
- Strong ability to assess, understand and act on issues with minimal assistance.
- Strong and clear communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work methodically for long periods of time with a high volume of data.
