This is a full-time, in-person role—perfect for someone with retail or optical experience who enjoys helping people look and feel their best.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Specialist / Optician, you'll be the face of the store—guiding customers through product selections, fitting and adjusting eyewear, and making sure every visit ends with a smile. You'll also collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and supportive environment while helping meet store goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding to questions and concerns with professionalism and care
- Fit, adjust, and assemble eyeglasses to match customer preferences and prescriptions
- Provide support and training to newer team members; lead by example
- Handle customer complaints or issues with empathy and a problem-solving mindset
- Keep the store organized, friendly, and customer-ready at all times
- Actively participate in team meetings to improve store performance
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented setting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- 1 year of retail or optical experience required
- ABO Certification preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable being on your feet and moving around for extended periods
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour, depending on experience
