Position Overview
We are seeking an elementary teacher for the 2025-2026 school year who will report directly to
the principal. The educator will provide a wonderful classroom environment with all content
being grounded in a biblical worldview. Along with content, the educator will establish Godly
and meaningful relationships with staff, parents, and students.

Essential Duties
? Make purposeful and appropriate lesson plans using effective teaching strategies to
achieve curriculum goals and promote student learning. Lesson plans should be readily
available for administrator?s review.
? Review student records to develop a foundation of understanding regarding each
student?s abilities and needs.
? Maintain accurate and complete student records that is communicated regularly with
parents.
? Use the curriculum and meaningful resources to as much as possible, meets the individual
needs, interests, and abilities of the students, challenging each to do his or her best work
striving to maximize the educational achievement of each student.
? Communicate regularly with parents regarding the classroom updates in addition to
individual communication with parents, when necessary, to reinforce positive behavior
and to proactively address potential issues.
? Employ a variety of instructional aids, methods, and materials that will provide creative
teaching to reach the whole child?spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, emotional.
? Cooperates with the administration in implementing all policies, procedures, and
directives governing the operation of the school.
? Maintains a clean, attractive, well-ordered classroom.
? Utilizes educational opportunities and evaluation processes for professional growth.
? Contribute to the general improvement of the school program.
? Maintains a personal appearance that is a role model of cleanliness, modesty, and good
taste.
? Use acceptable English in written and oral communication; speaks with clear articulation.
? Develop and maintain rapport with students, parents, and staff to promote a positive
learning environment.
? Recognizes the need for good public relations; represents the school in a favorable and
professional manner.
? Sets example of the importance of prayer, Bible study, witnessing, and unity in Christian
fellowship.
? Shows support for the role of parents as primarily responsible before God for their
children?s education and assists them in the task.
? Encourages students to accept God?s gift of salvation and grow in their faith,
? Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
Education and Experience
? Bachelor?s degree in education or related field from an accredited college or university.
? Previous experience in a Christian school and/or training in biblical integration is
preferred but not required.
? Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.
? Ability to understand and use Microsoft Office and other computer programs efficiently.
