We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grinder to join our team in a fast-paced food processing plant. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to maintain equipment while ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate grinding equipment to process meat products according to specifications.
- Ensure all grinding processes adhere to food safety standards, including HACCP guidelines.
- Sanitate work areas and equipment regularly to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination.
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate meat products as needed for production.
- Monitor product quality during the grinding process and make adjustments as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling food products.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food processing or the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety practices is essential.
