Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Patient management
- Equip/stock operatory for dentist
- Take X-rays Digital
- Perform coronal polishing and sealants.
- Maintain equipment and supplies
- Sterilize instruments
- Assist dentist with procedures for adults, such as root canals, extractions, partials, dentures, implants.
- Maintain a friendly, warm and clean environment for patients and their families!
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality is essential.
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new systems and procedures within the dental field.
Computer proficiency and outstanding interpersonal skills are a must. Must be able to work some late afternoons (sometimes until 6:30 or 7 PM).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
