We are currently in the running for Charleston City Paper's Best Marketing & PR Company and are seeking a passionate Digital Marketing Intern to join our team!
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing while earning college credit. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about digital marketing trends and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and attending mini-shoots for clients, ensuring smooth execution and coordination.
- Support the creation and scheduling of manual posts and stories across various social media platforms for clients.
- Capture and edit high-quality iPhone content, including short-form videos and photos, to support clients’ digital marketing and social media strategies
- Plan and execute two mini campaigns for assigned clients, including brainstorming ideas, creating content, and analyzing results.
- Undertake a long-term project throughout the internship duration, such as rebranding a client or developing a branding blueprint.
- Collaborate with the team to develop engagement strategies and content calendars for clients, focusing on increasing brand awareness and driving audience engagement.
- Learn about batching content and developing strategic plans for both new and existing clients, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in marketing efforts.
- Apply structured approaches and methodologies on a weekly basis to optimize digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Create content that entertains, inspires, and educates the target audience, aligning with clients' brand identities and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in digital marketing and social media trends, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for various platforms.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for generating innovative ideas.
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, social media platforms and familiarity with social media management tools is a plus.
