The CAD Designer will be responsible for developing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models that meet project specifications and align with industry standards. This role involves working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate design concepts into accurate and precise technical drawings.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models from design specifications, sketches, and other data sources.

· Work collaboratively with engineers and project managers to ensure that designs are accurate, feasible, and meet project requirements.

· Make necessary revisions to drawings and models based on feedback from project teams and changes in project scope.

· Review and verify the accuracy of all CAD drawings and models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.

· Maintain organized records of all design files, revisions, and related documentation.

· Utilize CAD software such as MicroStation, Open Roads Designer, or other relevant tools to create and modify designs.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes by implementing new techniques and technologies.

· Effectively communicate design ideas and concepts with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS / CAPABILITIES / CREDENTIALS

· Associate's degree or higher in CAD technology, drafting, design, or a related field.

· 2 years of experience as a CAD Designer or in a similar role, preferably within civil engineering.

· Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., MicroStation) with strong 2D and 3D modeling capabilities.

· Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, precise drawings.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address design challenges effectively.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

· Familiarity with industry-specific codes, standards, and regulations.

· Experience with advanced CAD tools and techniques or specialized software relevant to the industry.
