Legacy Event Group is an entertainment company providing coordination solutions for weddings, parties, and upscale corporate events. Offering unique services like providing two entertainment professionals per wedding and day-of reception coordination we are looking for a candidate that knows people as well as they know music. Legacy Event Group prioritizes customer service as a way to achieve quality event entertainment, putting the clients needs first. We also offer a wide variety of audio visual services for corporate clients including sound systems, microphones, projection screens, LED walls and more. Ideal candidates should have working knowledge of these systems and be comfortable learning new technologies. Mastery of audio visual equipment is not necessary and we prioritize the ability to learn.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a DJ and Audio Visual Technician located in Dayton, OH. The role involves DJing, music selection, emceeing, and sound management tasks for various events under Legacy Event Group. This position has varying pay scales depending on the task you are performing (setup / teardown, DJing, Emceeing, AV Tech, office prep work, etc. Higher pay rates and bonuses are reserved for hours working events while standard pay applies to setup and prep work.
This role doesn't require you to own equipment or have previous DJ experience. You are REQUIRED to use all of Legacy Event Groups equipment and we provide DJ / Emcee / and AV training. Our weddings are managed by a DJ and Emcee team, meaning you will not be alone at weddings and all events are under the supervision of .
Minimum Qualifications
- 21 years old
Event experience preferred but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment
Basic knowledge of various music genres and trends
Customer service-oriented professional mindset
