Electronics Repair Technician

Work Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm, Flex Hours

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for all aspects of customer returns for repair and calibration. Tasks may include troubleshooting to component level on a variety of fiber optic test & measurement equipment, primarily Fusion Splicers and their accessories. Upon completion of repair perform procedure to calibrate equipment to manufactures’ specifications. On the job training will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and repair electronic/fiber optics equipment using hand tools and schematics.
  • Perform routine maintenance and service on various devices to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize computer hardware skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Diploma is a minimum. AAS in EET or related field, or equivalent experience is strongly encouraged.
