Customer Care Representative

Legacy Flooring LW LLC is a family owned and operated business based in Raleigh, NC. At Legacy Flooring, we partner with Lowe's Home Improvement to bring life to customers’ dreams of beautiful flooring that will bring them joy for many years ahead. We are currently doing business for Lowe's Home Improvement stores in 6 states and are focused on continually growing.

As a Customer Care Representative with Legacy, you are the heart and soul of that customer experience. We are a fast-paced technology-driven company, and this allows us to have a remote call center environment. This means that you can work from home! This is a great benefit to working for Legacy, but also presents challenges for some, so please only apply if you are able to work 40 hours per week from home in a distraction free setting.

We provide all the equipment you will need to pair with your existing high speed internet service.

Remote Work Requirements:

  • Existing high speed internet service at your home office location
  • A quiet, distraction-free work setting at your home office location.
  • Commitment to work consistently 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Customer Care Representative Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls and online chats from Legacy’s installers, Lowe’s partners, and customers for
  • scheduling installation projects,
  • providing service information, and
  • resolving product, scheduling, and service issues.
  • Communicate by phone, chat, and project management software with Legacy’s District Managers, customers, Lowe’s partners and installers to ensure the installation project goes smoothly and solutions are carried through.
  • Maintain customer project records by updating project information with every contact.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.

Customer Care Representative Qualifications / Skills:

  • Previous experience in a call center setting, remote preferred
  • Customer service knowledge and experience
  • Problem solving skills

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience, particularly with Lowe’s or Home Depot, preferred
  • Previous knowledge /experience in flooring is an asset
  • Fluency with computers, office software, and phone systems
  • Previous telephone customer service experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Previous Installed Sales Coordinators and Project Coordinators are encouraged to apply.
