Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead our dealership's sales team. The GSM will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize sales performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure operational efficiency. This individual will play a critical role in driving revenue, maintaining inventory levels, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the sales department, including new and pre-owned vehicle sales, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a dynamic sales team to consistently deliver exceptional results.
- Customer Relations: Maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring best-in-class service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the dealership's management to optimize vehicle inventory levels and pricing strategies.
- Sales Process Optimization: Implement and refine sales processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and adherence to industry best practices.
- Marketing & Promotions: Work alongside marketing teams to develop campaigns and promotions that drive showroom traffic and customer engagement.

- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all sales operations adhere to dealership policies, state regulations, and ethical business practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in automotive sales management, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in dealership management software and CRM systems.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategic business plans.
