Repack Lead

Role Summary: This job is responsible for assisting with the quality of sorting and packing, training sorters, keeping the PLU applicators full and managing clips and stickers on an as needed basis. Additional job requirements include but not limited to the following…

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Help work with sorters, packers, and repack

• Continuously track quality of fruit through the line

• Continuously monitor the culls and off grade

• Oversee the presentation of fruit in the package (wax, orientation and size)

• Ensure fruit sizes are correct

• Must be available for flexible hours, overtime and weekends

• Work with the repack supervisor to enforce company policies.

• Be able to run repack to cover for PTO.

• Be able to use famous, High Jump, and Google doc.

• Understand order planning

• Work with production and shipping to meet order deadlines.

• Must have knowledge of grades, sizes and defects and packing requirements

Equipment/Technology Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

• Experience with fruit industry equipment including sizer

Physical Abilities:

• Ability to occasionally perform various activities that require; sitting, standing, walking, pulling/pushing objects, climbing, grasp & reach

• Ability to speak clearly & communicate with others

• Must have good vision, smell and hearing

• Ability to occasionally lift 40 lb. boxes from waist level
