About the Role - The Funeral Home Manager provides leadership to all staff at their respective location(s) and is responsible for all activities associated with operations, customers, staff, facilities, and financials in their location(s). The Funeral Home Manager is expected to actively lead, coach, and develop their team to grow the business while also focusing on community engagement, strategic planning, and administrative tasks such as meetings, calls, and emails. This position reports to the Regional Manager.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Lead and mentor a team with compassion and professionalism
✅ Grow pre-need and at-need business through community involvement
✅ Manage budgets, staff scheduling, and operational compliance
✅ Maintain high standards of service and facility presentation
✅ Additional duties as required by the business
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Funeral Director and Embalmer's licenses or ability to reciprocate quickly.
- Degree from an accredited school of embalming or mortuary service
- A degree in business management or a related field is preferred
- 5 years’ experience in funeral service leadership
- Strong business acumen and people management skills
- High level of compassion, integrity, and professionalism
