Service Porter

As a Service Porter, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing vehicle movements, and maintaining the cleanliness of the service area. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs upon arrival.
• Drive and park customer vehicles safely, including manual transmission vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
• Assist service technicians by delivering vehicles to designated areas.
• Operate cash registers for any necessary transactions related to vehicle services.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle status and service needs.
• Support the dealership team by performing additional tasks as needed, including valet parking duties.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and reporting.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including those with manual transmissions.
• Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
• Experience in a dealership or automotive environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
