About the Role: Legacy Group Enterprises Inc is seeking an experienced Traveling Project Supervisor to join our team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while traveling to site to perform surveys or manage on-site work.
Responsibilities:
- Project Supervision: Utilize active listening skills to document client requests within the work order system in an efficient and accurate manner while traveling to site.
- Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Prepare budget and cost estimates, along with work timetables, for on-site projects.
- Communication: Report project progress and budgets to clients and upper management effectively.
- Vendor Management: Identify and dispatch appropriate trade-related vendors, recruit new vendors as needed, and utilize negotiation skills to achieve nationwide pricing.
- Customer Service: Build rapport with clients, provide timely and comprehensive written and oral updates, and resolve or escalate disputes as needed.
- Organizational Skills: Track all materials needed to complete a project and schedule accordingly, employ critical thinking skills to detect, investigate, and solve client issues, and certify all information logged in the work order management system is accurate and complete.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Two (2) years or more experience managing construction projects in a leading or supporting role, and six (6) months of experience working with subcontractors.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Skill Set: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and multitask without compromising quality, and ability to read blueprints.
