Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Admissions Assistant to join our respected team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will provide essential support to the facility leadership team by ensuring accurate and efficient data collection, entry, and completion of various administrative tasks. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while contributing to the smooth operation of the admissions process and the overall success of the facility.
Job Responsibilities:
· Accurately and efficiently collect and input both clinical and administrative data to support the admissions process.
· Collaborate effectively with team members while managing individual tasks to ensure key deadlines and requirements are consistently met.
· Maintain organizational skills while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
· Communicate effectively with residents, families and referral sources to answer questions and guide them through the admissions process.
· Perform and review paperwork to ensure accuracy and completion.
· Supporting the marketing and sales team by providing updates on admission status and assisting with tours in the facility as needed.
· Maintain confidentiality of all data and information, including resident information protected by HIPAA and confidential staff information.
· Other duties as required
Education and Experience Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED required (2 or 4 year degree preferred)
· General computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook) and web-based portals (uploading/downloading, exporting, working with PCC) preferred
· Excellent customer service skills required
· Excellent communication skills required
· Prior healthcare experience, including basic terminology required
· This position has a firm opportunity to advance into our current admissions coordinator role
