What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Revenue Cycle Generalist position at Legacy Health Services?
Job Summary:
1-2 years of prior experience in a medical office or medical customer service setting required.
Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and other managed care insurance plans
Experience in Medical records requests preferred
Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT codes.
Responsibilities:
Submit and track Medical Record Requests in a consistent and timely manner
Accurately translate patient information into alphanumeric medical codes as needed.
Provide consistent follow-up for A/R, including managing the appeals process for denied claims.
Submit claims manually through portals as needed
Generate patient statements
Assist with answering phone messages
Process refunds due
Ability to perform manual and electronic posting of insurance and patient payments.
Assist the Billing and AR team with administrative tasks as needed
Create and track invoices
Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines set by Medicare, state programs, and HMO/PPO providers.
