What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Social Worker position at Legacy Health Services?
Join our family of professionals at Pleasant Lake Villa, a 199-bed skilled nursing facility with a 30-suite assisted living, a well-appointed therapy center, a dedicated rehabilitation unit featuring, private suites, physician-led programs, also offers on-site hemodialysis. As the Licensed Social Worker, you will assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Social Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, as well as our established policies and procedures.
Education and Experience
Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelors Degree from an approved school of Social Work
Active LSW license in good standing required
Must have, as a minimum, 2 year supervised social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals
Long term care experience preferred
