Job Ad Summary: Medicaid Liaison
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the Medicaid application process.
Perform financial assessments for residents.
Educate residents and families on Medicaid eligibility.
Communicate with county JFS and Area Agency on Aging.
Attend state hearings and appeal adverse actions.
Assist Business Office Manager with claims, cash posting, insurance review, and more.
Requirements:
2 years of experience with Ohio Long Term Care Medicaid.
Knowledge of Ohio Medicaid rules and regulations.
Experience with Excel, Microsoft Office, and Billing software, preferably PointClickCare
Strong organizational and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
2-5 years of Medicaid/compliance experience.
Familiar with Ohio regulations and Ohio Revised Code
Knowledge of Area on Aging.
