Legacy Health is actively seeking skilled EEG Technologists Level II to enhance our Neurodiagnostics team. As a vital member of our community, you will contribute to providing exceptional care in a supportive and compassionate environment.

In this role, you will primarily engage in adult Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) services while expanding your expertise across both inpatient and outpatient settings, caring for patients of all ages, including pediatrics. This position is ideal for motivated individuals keen on delivering clinical excellence in Electroencephalography.

Responsibilities :

  • Independently perform various EEG procedures, including long-term monitoring for Epilepsy, continuous EEG monitoring, and ambulatory EEG, providing descriptive analysis based on departmental protocols.
  • Work seamlessly with diverse patient populations, from neonates to geriatrics, across both inpatient and outpatient environments.
  • Engage in potential additional tasks such as Evoked Potentials or intraoperative neuromonitoring, depending on your skill set.
  • Be flexible to work across various Legacy sites and participate in night, weekend, and holiday call shifts as required.

Qualifications :

  • Education : High school diploma along with a graduation from a CAAHEP accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program, or an associate's degree with a focus on physical or biological sciences from an accredited institution.
  • Experience : Minimum of two years in clinical electroencephalography is required, either through direct experience or an accredited END Program.
  • Skills : Strong communication abilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health systems.
  • Licensure / Certification :

  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG T.) credential from ABRET.
