Job Summary
This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical services. As a first assist technician, you will be responsible for providing support to surgeons and other medical staff during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to members of the surgical team
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
- 1-year experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program or completion of a military training program for surgical technologists
- American Heart Association approved BLS certification required
