Position Summary:
A compliance coordinator specializes in ensuring that the organization adheres to its policies and regulations, including the state laws. Their responsibilities revolve around maintaining an active communication line with different departments to gather and analyze data, identifying vulnerable areas and risks, conducting internal investigations and inspections on compliance violations, assessing workforce performance, and reviewing product and systems documentation. Furthermore, it is essential to gather compliance certifications or data, all while reporting to the risk committee, managers, and other high-ranking management.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelors degree in a healthcare or related field
- Two years of auditing, compliance, or comparable experience
- Demonstrates an independent work style with non-direct supervision after training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify process deficiencies and minimize resolution time by increasing communication between departments.
- Document review findings and work closely with the upper management on corrective action plans.
- Update the PAS program policies and related forms.
- Ensure federal regulatory and state contract compliance for Medicaid and PAS/PHC providers.
- Develop several databases to track compliance components and audit documentation.
- Gather detail documentation, and develop PowerPoint presentations on corrective action plans.
- Develop and implement employee education and training programs relevant to regulatory requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm *Flexibility required for overtime in case of time-sensitive projects
Pay: Up to $50,000 annual salary
