Handyman/Maintenance Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Maintenance Technician to join our growing rental property team in Catawba County and surrounding areas. In this role, you'll handle a variety of tasks to ensure our properties are well-maintained and renters are satisfied. From completing work orders like electrical and drywall repairs to performing routine property maintenance checks, your expertise will keep our homes in excellent condition.

You will also assist with posting notices, supporting the property manager with miscellaneous tasks, and ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. If you're a problem-solver with a knack for small repairs and a passion for maintaining homes, we’d love to hear from you!

• Location: Properties across Catawba County and nearby areas
• Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Complete a wide variety of small repair jobs, including electrical, drywall, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on properties.
• Respond promptly to work orders and ensure tenant satisfaction.
• Assist with posting notices and tenant communications.
• Support the property manager with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in handyman, maintenance, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of small repair jobs and property maintenance.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between properties.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
