As a Full-Time Assisted Living Move-In Coordinator, you'll work from Tuesday to Saturday, with hours designed to help you manage the coordination of all move-ins and new hires effectively.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER
As the Assisted Living Move-In Coordinator, your day will begin by collaborating with managers to ensure the seamless flow of move-ins. You will assist families by guiding them through all necessary paperwork, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents, and working directly with the staff to make sure apartments are ready for the new arrivals. You'll regularly liaise with physicians, hospitals, and other professionals to gather necessary documents, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
You'll also coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to make sure that apartments are clean, staged, and ready to welcome new residents. Throughout the day, you'll maintain clear communication with families and community staff, offering that personal touch that is central to the Legacy House experience. When needed, you'll assist with new hire paperwork and support facility orientation for new associates, all while making sure privacy and confidentiality are maintained. In addition, you'll provide front desk coverage during lunch breaks to ensure continuity in operations.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR OUR ASSISTED LIVING MOVE-IN COORDINATOR?
- Ability to effectively communicate, clearly present information, and interpret complex information
- Ability to make presentations to a variety of audiences/groups
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
- Physical ability to assist in transferring residents and their belongings
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
